High impact, high energy, we use different techniques and equipment, to burn calories, drive down your body fat, build your fitness stamina, strengthen your body, improve your flexibility and support your mental wellbeing through feeling motivated and simply fantastic! BODYWEIGHT BOOTCAMP

The staple TRAIN ELITE high energy fitness class. A 30-minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. A whole-body workout using your own body weight, to burn calories and improve your stamina, using a combination of athletic and dynamic movements including sprinting, lunging, push ups, squats; alongside equipment such as TRX, ropes and box work. A really motivating high impact, high intensity session.

WEIGHTED BOOTCAMP

Taking the high energy TRAIN ELITE fitness class and adding a new dimension and resistance with a mixture of heavier weights such as kettlebells. This 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout is designed to include multi-dimensional sports conditioning training to increase your overall athletic performance: strength, agility, speed and power.

LOW IMPACT BOOTCAMP

Taking the staple TRAIN ELITE high energy fitness class, down a notch, to support people starting their fitness journey, or affected by injury or limitations for any reason. A 30-minute whole-body workout using your own body weight the session allows for rest periods to allow the body to recover between sets, and with lower impact movements for less hard impact on the body. But don’t be fooled, this workout is still really effective for burning calories, improving your stamina and building or re-building your fitness levels!

METAFIT

Metafit is suitable for beginners through to the most advanced fitness person. Based on the HIIT principles, Metafit is a 30-minute-high intensity session, based on work/rest intervals, pushing yourself as hard as possible in the work period, with then a short rest. It works the body to its maximum, through movements it was genetically designed to do, including burpees, plyometric lunges, squat jumps, squat thrusts and more. Metafit training is used in all sorts ways and helps to work muscles and boost metabolism.

STRENGTH &

CONDITIONING

Strength Room Upstairs

A weights-based class focusing on strength and developing muscle tone, for both men and women. These sessions take place upstairs and use a wide range of equipment including cable machines, kettlebells, barbells and dumbbells and include exercises such as deadlifts, pull ups, bench press, rows, heavy squats and much more.

For women lifting heavy weights it will not make you bulky or manly. In fact, it’ll do just the opposite: it’ll tighten and tone all over your body, burn fat, and shape your curves exactly how you want them.

For men weight training will give you that bulk and tone you will be looking for, because of the levels of testosterone in your body, resulting in increased size and definition across all muscle groups, for the perfect chest, abs, arms and legs.

And weightlifting isn’t just about building muscle mass or bulking in the case of men. According to experts its benefits include improved posture, better sleep, gaining bone density, maintaining weight loss, boosting metabolism, and it regulates insulin and lowers inflammation. It will also test and develop your mental strength and help improve mood and energy levels and boost your confidence in so many ways. And it is because of these attributes, that strength training is highly recommended to help support women during the menopause.

Our strength & conditioning class is full of explosive and heavy movements, a huge variety of different exercises, but places a very strong importance on reinforcing technique. The class will increase your knowledge of lifting form and allow you to feel confident using free weights in any gym.

PILATES

Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength, concentrating on posture, balance and flexibility. It also focuses on the mind-body connection, needing to constantly aware of your breathing and the way your body moves. Pilates is a great compliment in your training programme alongside high intensity workouts, helping build your flexibility, form and stamina.

YOGA

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing and is an effective way to increase physical activity, especially strength, flexibility and balance. There is also evidence that supports regular yoga practice being beneficial for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, aches and pains – including lower back pain – depression and stress.

STRETCH & MOBILITY

Stretching is one of the main pillars of fitness and is a necessary part of any training regime and why we have included this as part of our class schedule. Stretching is extremely important as a recovery after strenuous exercise, realigning tissue within the muscle and connective tendons which can become disorganised and stressed after an intense workout. Stretching helps to realign them so that they can heal properly. It also is a great way to prevent everyday aches and pains and can improve your workouts by maintaining flexibility and a range of motions, making your body work to its optimum performance.

ELITE PUMP

ELITE PUMP is a fantastic barbell workout to get you lean, toned and fit. We use light to moderate weighted bars with lots of repetition, to burn calories, and build lean and athletic muscle without bulking, shaping toning, and strengthening your entire body. Great music, great atmosphere, this is a really addictive workout that challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls.

BOXING BLAST

30 minutes

A high energy cardio workout, using boxing as a key focus, to get that heart rate pumping and build upper body stamina. Blast and hammer the boxing bags alongside energetic, high impact and dynamic body weight exercises for a full body workout, that will leave you feeling pumped! A great way to get rid of the days stress and tension!
